Our Story

Welcome to Sparrow Hawk Ranch, we are so glad you are here!

We are Carey & Sid Payne. We have lived in Longmont for over 24 years – 20 of which was spent on Sparrow Hawk Drive. We love this community and have raised our boys, and a few cats & dogs, fought off cancer and have endless memories of great love from that house! That is where the name Sparrow Hawk Ranch comes from, we wanted to honor our past while lunging into our new adventure… a friend once said “It’s always an adventure with the Paynes”.

In March 2022, we moved to this beautiful 35-acre ranch on E. County Line Road, just five miles from our previous home. We are grateful to still be in the Longmont community and look forward to making even more friends in our new home along with this new venture!

We have spent the past year converting our 40 ft x 60 ft barn into a beautiful, multi-use, event venue. It’s been an incredible journey so far with so much more to come. We know you will just love it as much as we do and we can’t wait to be a part of your special celebrations!
